Opportunity to Make a Difference in Doncaster
Could you spare up to one day each month to share your expertise and enthusiasm with a local well-established Doncaster community enterprise and help it grow?
Balby-based Flourish Enterprises CIC is searching for new part-time, voluntary directors to join our board and work with the senior leadership team to ensure our community focused services are delivered to the highest standard.
Flourish is located at one of Doncaster’s hidden treasures, historic St Catherine’s House and Walled Gardens, at Woodfield Park. Formed in 2014, it is proud of its close links with the Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH).

“Flourish is a Community Interest Company housed in a stunning listed building that provides a number of commercial and not-for-profit services all surrounded by lots of beautiful green spaces.
As a social enterprise we focus on providing care and support services throughout our local communities. Flourish exists to promote social mobility, wellbeing opportunities and work with our partners to deliver a supportive and lasting social impact. Amongst our range of commercial and community services, we provide work, vocational and volunteering opportunities to people with mental health needs, learning disabilities and to those who have experienced any form of set-back and who need support to get back into education or employment, or just need to find a place where they feel connected. We also have our end-of-life care service, Woodfield 24 which provides end-of-life care and support that enables patients to remain at home with their family as they enter the last stages of their life.
Now is an exciting time to be joining us as we work on a revitalised long-term strategic plan and vision for the organisation, involving some quite ambitious plans all designed to best serve the needs of residents across Doncaster.
